The general functions of this system are as follows:
- Project preparation. Enabling all the information that managers consider necessary to apply for projects or groups of projects to be gathered. Particularly important are: The financial plan, costs, physical indicators, execution timetable, environmental impact and regionalisation.
- Project preparation. Enabling the approval process to captured (Community Decision) of a project or group of projects, registering the set of significant dates and information, as well as any other register on complementary information requested by the European Union.
- Management of project modifications. Enables all types of status changes to be recorded that may occur during the life of a project, from preliminary proceedings through to its completion. It provides the control needed to follow the trail to all modifications and statuses made to a project throughout its life cycle.
- Management of a project's specific execution tasks (Approval, Commitments, Calculation of Payment Applications, Calculation of Transfer Orders, Certifications) and the issuing of the related official documents. It forms the fundamental basis of the system as it facilitates the management of existing Treasury flows.
- Management of controls done on the different projects, as well as the financial corrections that may emerge from them. This functionality is related to execution management in so far as execution is conditioned in a number of aspects by the results of the controls done on projects.
- Complete management of Monitoring Committees: Enables the set up of a monitoring committee, generation of files, capture of information through various means (intranet, internet, manually or using a file loader), quality control of the committee's information and the generation of committee ledgers.
- Analytical consultations (GAUDI information system) and lists.
- A system administration module is also provided.
The level of access to information and the operation possibilities permitted to each group of users can be fully defined, making it possible to specifically control the possibilities assigned to each group.
