In order to connect an external application to Fondos 2007, the application must fulfil all the general requirements established by the SGE for any external application. These requirements are established to fulfil the security standards in force at any time.

• Mass loading of operations and implementation from Fondos 2007
Users that do not wish to use the Web service described above can load operations and transactions from Fondos 2007 through an XML file. The information exchange subsystem features a series of functions for these tasks. The only requirement is the use of XML files. The validations are the same as the Web service and they are performed in the occasional updates.

• Bulk uploads and downloads of operations, certifications and validations
For the operational programmes in which Ministry of Finance and Civil Service acts as a certification authority, procedures for bulk uploading of expenditure certifications and operations are available. For those in which the Ministry is a management authority, Funds 2007 supplies procedures for uploading expenditure validations with their transactions and other downloads of associated structures.
